Bolingbrook Coed Cheer Squad Finishes Second at ICCA State Finals

Bolingbrook High School’s Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Squad finished second in the Coed Varsity Division at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association (ICCA) State Championships over the weekend.

Waterloo won the competition. Addison Trail was third, Hinsdale South fourth and Centralia fifth.

Team members are Molly Makowski, Alexia Ainoo, LaTe’a Durden, Lena Nasman, Breana Escobar, Ashley Carter, Lauren Schorsch, Emlee Nowicki-Goff, DayAndrea Thompson, Tania Biggs, Haley Carr, Breanna Conley, Sonia Stachurski, Kayla Perry, Jasmine Owens, Jaclyn Lynch, Cayleh Smith, Jada Owens, Diamond Jones, Sam Showalter, David Burton, Darrion Cole, Markus Lindsay, Janell Bell, Aliyia Smith.

Rachael Blosser.

The Raiders will compete in Illinois High School Association sectionals Jan. 31 at Joliet West with an eye on qualifying for the IHSA state finals Feb. 6 and 7.
