Bolingbrook Crime Blotter: 3 Package Thiefs Caught

BOLINGBROOK, IL -The Bolingbrook Police Department reports that it has investigated the following criminal activity in recent days:

Dec. 14

Alberto Garcia- Rodriguez, 29, Woodlyn Dr., Woodridge, was charged with two in-state warrants, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Dr. & Royce Rd. at 12:58 p.m.

Dec. 15

Ana Galvan-Jimenez, 24, Santa Fe Dr., Romeoville, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Joliet Rd. & Gibraltar Dr. at 10:10 p.m.

Dec. 15

Officers responded to Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Someone placed baby items in a cart and exited the store at 2:04 p.m. without rendering payment. Loss valued at $75.

Dec. 16

Officers were called to a residence on the 400 block of Skokie Drive for the report of a domestic disturbance. The victim stated they were pushed, choked and the suspect removed cash from a nightstand.

Dec. 17

A backpack, wallet, keys and cell phone were taken from a locker on the 500 block of N. Janes Ave. between 6:15 p.m. and 7:50 p.m.

Dec. 17

Jihad Wilkins, 25, Campbell Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant., following a patrol stop on Lot J of Beaconridge Dr. at 11:41 a.m.

Dec. 17

Christopher Moore, 31, 326 Kirkwood Circle, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Rd. at 10:36 p.m.

Dec. 17

Matthew Garver, 26, Malibu Court, was charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, following a traffic stop at Comanche Dr. & Blackfoot Dr. at 11:06 p.m.

Dec. 18

A Dodge pickup was taken from the 100 block of Remington Blvd. while warming up. The vehicle was located in Harvey, IL after being involved in an accident.

Dec. 18

Three juveniles were charged with theft, after taking packages from doorsteps on the 500 block of Princeton Dr., and the 400 block of Bloomfield Dr. at 3:56 p.m.

Dec. 19

Christina Minnick, 23, 210 3rd Ave., Joliet, IL was charged with criminal damage to property, following a call to a business on the 1200 block of 115th St. at 11:58 a.m.
