Several Appliances Stolen: Bolingbrook Crime Blotter

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Here's your snapshot of criminal activity taking place in Bolingbrook over the past week:

JUNE 15

A truck parked on the 100 block of E. South Frontage Rd., was broken into sometime overnight. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Natasha Gums, 42, 2347 Rosedale Ln., Toledo, OH, was charged with violation order of protection, battery and criminal damage to property, following a call to the parking lot on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 7:39 p.m.

JUNE 16

Numerous unlocked vehicles were rummaged through on Ayers St., Lancaster Dr., Boardman Cir., Flagstaff Dr., Bluebird Dr. and Pueblo Dr. sometime overnight. Wallets, money, credit cards, an EPI pen, firearm, designer sunglasses, and a purse were taken.

Officers were called to Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Someone placed meat and power tools in a cart and exited the store at 4:22 a.m. Loss valued at $220.

Officers were called to Lot C of Beaconridge Dr. for the report of a robbery. Someone grabbed the victim's purse and ran off at 9:40 p.m.

JUNE 17

Numerous appliances were taken from a trailer parked on the 200 block of W. South Frontage Rd., The seal was cut to the trailer between 06/15 - 06/17. Loss valued at $29,600.

JUNE 18

Officers were called to the 500 block of Preston Dr. for the report of damage to property. Someone damaged gas cap, door frame and door of vehicle between 06/16-06/18.

Josue Aguilar, 35, 219 Bunkerhill Dr., was charged with aggravated domestic battery, resisting a peace officer, assault and in-state warrant, following a call to the residence for a domestic dispute at 12:35 a.m.

JUNE 19

A 2017 Jeep was taken from a driveway on the 300 block of Scotts Ct. sometime overnight. The vehicle was located in Calumet City.

Jovani Ortega, 18, 606 N. Broadway St., Joliet, was charged with criminal trespass to property and theft from an area hospital, 500 Remington Blvd. at 4:31 p.m.
