Bolingbrook Crime Blotter: Gun Stolen From Man's Car

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Here's what kept the Bolingbrook Police Department busy over the past week.

MAY 4

Officers responded to Kohl’s, 1138 W. Boughton Rd., for a retail theft. Someone concealed several clothing items at 8:13 p.m. and exited the store without rendering payment.

Wilmar Vasquez, 43, 400 block of Devonshire Ct., was charged with battery in the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Rd. at 10:51 a.m.

MAY 5

Geraldine Marshall, 55, 700 block of Belmont Ct., Romeoville, was charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and DUI, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Dr. & Old Chicago Dr. at 7:06 p.m.

Meaghan Murtaugh, 20, 435 Rance Rd., Oswego, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol, following a call to the 300 block of W. Briarcliff Rd. at 2:55 a.m.

MAY 6

Officers responded to Mobile Gas, 698 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a theft. US currency was taken from the registers and safe between 12:00 am - 3:54 a.m. Loss valued at $1,000.

Jaime Aguirre-Roa, 38, unit block off Rockledge Dr. Romeoville, was charged with public indecency, following a call to the 200 block of Eagle Ct., for a suspect exposing himself at 6:38 p.m.

MAY 7

A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 1500 block of Somerfield Dr. sometime overnight. Credit cards were used at a local store.

MAY 8

Richard Lopez, 33, 214 Kenilworth Dr., was charge with DUI, driving on a suspended license and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Dr. & Northridge Ave., at 11:25 p.m.

Someone entered Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., at 10:17 pm, selected several bottles of alcohol and exited the store without rendering payment. Loss valued at $50.

MAY 9

US currency was taken from a bank bag at IHOP, 730 N. Janes Ave., at 8:13 a.m. Loss valued at $210.

Tyronia Gresham, 20, 3200 block of 83rd St., Woodridge was charged with retail theft and two warrants, following a call to Walmart, 200 S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 4:09 p.m.

Vanessa Avalos, 27, unit block of Maroon Bells Ct., was charged with an in-state warrant, driving on a revoked license, no insurance and equipment violation, following a traffic stop on the 200 block of N. Weber Rd. at 11:45 p.m.

MAY 10

A hand gun, ammunition and laser level were taken from a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Enclave Cir. sometime overnight. Loss valued at $800.
