Bolingbrook Grad Drafted by NFL
Antonio Morrison was the 27th pick in round 4. He will play for the Indianapolis Colts.

Former Bolingbrook High School student Antonio Morrison has been drafted by the NFL to play for the Indianapolis Colts.
Morrison was the 27th pick in round 4 and the overall 125th selection, according to the NFL.
The 6’1’’, 232 lb. linebacker is “(ultra) competitive with unmatched intensity. Alpha male in the locker room who teammates gravitate toward. Work ethic on full display as he recovered from a severe knee injury two to three months ahead of schedule and in time for start of the season,” according to the NFL.

Morrison, who graduated a semester early from BHS in 2012, finished his career at the University of Florida as a two-time All-Southeastern Conference pick, leading the Gators in tackles last fall while coming back from multiple surgeries on his left knee to repair an injury from the 2014 Birmingham Bowl.
According to a draft analysis by Mike Dulgerian, "Morrison is another nice addition to the Ted Monachino attacking defense. The Florida product is built to play inside in a 34 and plays faster than his stopwatch times. More importantly, he brings a fiery attitude to a defense that ranked 26th."
