BOLINGBROOK, IL — University of Florida football star and Bolingbrook High School graduate, Antonio Morrison, is now a college graduate, receiving his diploma Saturday after earning a degree in criminology.

The veteran linebacker and leading Gators tackler launched his college football career with a bang in 2012 thanks to a memorable game-changing hit that forced Florida State quarterback EJ Manuel to fumble. He became a team leader over his junior and senior seasons.

First-year Florida coach Jim McElwain hailed Morrison as the story of the 2015 team that went 10-3 and will meet Michigan in the Citrus Bowl Jan. 1. The Gators also advanced to the SEC Championship Game for the first time since 2009.
