Bolingbrook High School Alum Drafted By Philadelphia Phillies
Malik Binns, who played at Benedictine University, made history as the first player in the program's 5 years to get drafted in the MLB.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Malik Binns, a right-handed pitcher who graduated from Bolingbrook High School in 2017, was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies Tuesday.
The 6-foot-7, 220-pound baseball player, who went on to play baseball at Benedictine University, also made history as the first player in the program's 5 years to get drafted to the MLB.

Although the baseball player hadn't put out a statement addressing the draft as of Thursday, he has retweeted several congratulatory posts.
