Bolingbrook High School Hosts Baseball Defensive Clinic

Bolingbrook High School, 365 Raider Way, will host a free defensive clinic for kids of all age levels on Saturday, Aug. 23, at its varsity baseball field.

The event starts with a 10 a.m. Brooks Middle School vs. Lukancic Middle School game, followed by lunch and a meet and greet with BHS coaching staff at noon.

The clinic starts at 1 p.m. No registration is required, but participants should be at the varsity baseball field by 1 p.m. with all necessary equipment and dressed in their full baseball uniform.

An autograph session with BHS varsity players is set for 2 p.m. A "guess your speed" event and batting practice in the batting cages starts at 2 p.m.

Here's the scheduled for the clinic:

1 to 1:30 p.m. – Run/Stretch/Throwing Program on Varsity Baseball Field under the direction of the Bolingbrook Coaching Staff

1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Individual Position Workout

-Catchers

-Pitchers

-Infielders

-Outfielders

2:30 to 3 p.m. – Meet and greet Varsity Baseball players and autograph session….bring something for the players and coaching staff to sign! 

3 to 4 p.m. – Guess your speed in the OF, hit in the batting cages, or mingle with players and staff.
