Bolingbrook HS Chess Team Heads To State Finals Tournament

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook High School Chess Team will compete at the IHSA chess state final tournament on Feb. 11-12. The tournament will be held at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria.

The district said this year's competition will be in-person, after last year's remote competition.

According to the IHSA website, 128 teams have qualified for the state final tournament. The Bolingbrook team is coached by Catherine Tallon and assistant coach Anthony Scardina.
