Bolingbrook Library To Discount Overdue Book Fees

National Library Week is coming, and the Bolingbrook library is offering up to $20 off book fees for nonperishable foods.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Fountaindale Public Library in Bolingbrook is taking part in this year's National Library Week, from April 8 to 14 by running a bookmobile and by discounting any overdue library fees. Take advantage of this!

"Clear up any lingering fines on your account while doing a good deed!" the library said on the Bolingbrook website. "Visit the first floor Circulation Desk, and we'll remove $2 in fines (up to $20) per account for each unexpired, non-perishable food item you donate."

They'll also accept any overdue items to the Circulation Desk without being fined, so consider it a grace period. If you've got library fines, now's a great chance to do some good while benefiting from your good deed. All items will go to the DuPage Township Food Pantry.
