Bolingbrook Man Among Group Charged For Selling Fentanyl: Attorney General
The group includes a mother from Bellwood and son from Bolingbrook.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook man is among three people charged with multiple felonies after selling fentanyl in Cook and DuPage counties, according to a news release from the Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul.
Cornelius Campbell, 34, of Bolingbrook; his mother, Stacy Campbell, 55, of Bellwood; and Oliver Beach, 29, of Joliet, are all facing charges after attempting to deliver more than 280 grams of fentanyl in two months across two counties, the Attorney's office said.
The three will next appear in court on Nov. 19.

“The fentanyl epidemic has devastated far too many Illinois families and communities across our state,” Attorney Raoul said in a news release. “Combatting this life-threatening crisis requires continued collaboration with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. I commend the work of the Illinois State Police in this case and together we will continue to hold individuals accountable for distributing fentanyl.”
The Attorney General's Office said that in June and July, Beach drove Cornelius and Stacy to multiple locations to deliver nearly 250 grams of fentanyl, and attempting to deliver more than an additional 230 grams of fentanyl to an undercover DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group agent.

Stacy is charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of controlled substance and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Cornelius is charged with six counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and one count of unlawful criminal drug conspiracy.
Beach is charged with five counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of unlawful criminal drug conspiracy.
