Bolingbrook Man Arrested At Joliet Bar

The other arrestee came from Romeoville.

JOLIET, IL- Not only was the Joliet Police Department extra busy early Thanksgiving morning arresting a total of six people at the Anthony's Restaurant & Pub, but other Joliet officers were busy responding to a bar fight outside Sidelines Sports Bar. Joliet Police arrested 23-year-old Dennis Harris of Bolingbro0k and 23-year-old Emmanuel Duah of Romeoville.
Harris was charged with assault and resisting a police officer. He was released from custody on a $1,500 I-bond.

As for Emmanuel Duah, the Romeoville man was arrested for criminal trespassing and resisting a police officer.

Duah was released on a $1,500 I-Bond.

According to the Joliet Police Department, officers rushed to the bar at 2006 West Jefferson Street just before 1:10 a.m. on Thanksgiving. There was a fight in progress, police said.

"Upon arrival, officers observed multiple (people) in front of the bar being told by security to leave the property. The (people) were all being belligerent and combative. Harris began walking towards Jefferson Street, while making verbal threats he was coming back to physically harm the officers," police reports show.

Harris began to walk toward the Joliet Police. He declared his intent to bring harm to the Joliet Police, reports show.

"Harris aggressively approached one of the officers while threatening physical harm to the officer, and the officer took Harris into custody. While Harris was being walked to a JPD squad, Duah, became angry and aggressive," reports show.
