Bolingbrook Named One of the Wealthiest Cities in the Midwest

Bolingbrook has been named one of the wealthiest cities in the Midwest, according to an analysis by NerdWallet.

To figure out the rankings, NerdWallet analyzed cities with at least 65,000 people and looked at the median household income, percent of homes without a mortgage, monthly median home value and the average credit limit for card holders.

Bolingbrook has a median household income of $73,333 and a median home price of $197,400. 15 percent of homes had no mortgage and the average credit limit was $36,439. Those stats gave Bolingbrook a score of 62.44, placing it in the number nine spot in the Midwest.

According to NerdWallet, the Midwest is the most affordable region if you’re looking to live in one of the wealthiest cities.
