Bolingbrook Park District Hosts Holiday Events: Turkey Burner, Party with Santa, Letters from Santa
Events lead up to Thanksgiving, Christmas.

Some holiday-themed events coming up in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas at the Bolingbrook Park District:
LifeStyles Fitness Center will host its “Turkey Burner” program on Thanksgiving day, allowing patrons to work out before their big feasts. They accept non-perishable food items as admission and collect food items throughout the month to be donated. You can donate by placing your food items in the bins at the LifeStyles Fitness Center located at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex, 200 Lindsey Ln.
Pajama Party with Santa will is scheduled for 6 to 7 and 7:30 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at the Annerino Community Center, 201 Recreation Dr. Children may dress in their favorite Christmas pajamas and celebrate with Santa! Each child will receive a printed picture taken with Santa, tell him their wishes and receive a special gift. Children will have the opportunity to listen to stories, make a craft, play a game or two and enjoy delicious cookies and milk. Fee is $18 for the 1st child and $10 for each additional child. With your resident ID, the fee is $12 for the 1st child and $8 for each additional child.

Starting on Friday, Nov. 28, Santa’s mailbox will be displayed at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex. Santa will personally write to each and every child who writes him a letter, provided that all letters are received by 10 pm on Thursday, Dec. 11. Children must include the following: Name, address, city and ZIP Code along with their wish list. Please address letters to Santa’s Workshop, 5 Reindeer Rd., North Pole.
