Bolingbrook Park District Plans Pumpkin Shoot

The park district said money from the event goes to help feed the animal residents at Hidden Oaks Nature Center.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Park District will hold a pumpkin shoot at Hidden Oaks, 419 Trout Farm Road, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The park district said money from the event goes to help feed the animal residents at Hidden Oaks Nature Center.

All ages are welcome to the event, where families can bring their pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, learn how to shoot a bow and arrow, and shoot your pumpkin with an arrow.

It is $1 per arrow on-site, or $5 in advance for 10 arrows, according to the park district.
