Bolingbrook Plans Ribbon Cutting For Museum Annex

The open house and ribbon cutting will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 22.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission will hold a ribbon cutting on Oct. 22 for its newly renovated Museum Annex, 444 E. Briarcliff Road.

The open house and ribbon cutting will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 22.

At Tuesday's Village Board meeting, the commission said it plans on hosting more programs, events and exhibits.

"This group has put in so much work," Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said at the meeting. "The museum itself is very educational."

The building used to be the former police department "way back in the day," Alexander-Basta said.
