Bolingbrook Police To Begin Posting Lost Pet Information On Facebook

Bolingbrook Police Department's animal control facility is staffed by three full-time officers who work to reconnect lost pets with owners.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook Police Department's animal control officers will begin using the official police Facebook page to notify locals of lost pets, officials announced Tuesday evening.

Posts will give any known information about the lost pet as well as where the animal was found. The comment section on each post won't be monitored, so people with information about an animal's potential owner are directed to call animal control at 630-226-8500.

The department's animal control facility is staffed by three full-time officers, with assistance from a community service officer, police officers and partners at Humane Haven, who volunteer to give essential daily care to the cats staying at BPD's animal control.
