Bolingbrook Police Department Seeks Officer Candidates
The department is accepting applications for entry level and lateral police officer.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Police Department has opened its 2024 testing process for entry-level police officer positions, the department shared in a release.
The department has 116 sworn officers, and serves a Village of 77,000 residents.
Positions are filled from a pool of lateral and entry-level officers, the department said in a release. Openings are available, and the department is accepting applications for entry level and lateral police officer.

The starting salary for an officer is $73,695, according to the Village website. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license, live within a 30-mile radius within 18 months of hire, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

A written examination will be held on Jan. 13 at the Bolingbrook Community Center.
