Bolingbrook Police Plan Super Bowl Enforcement Campaign

Bolingbrook Police want to increase public awareness of not wearing a seat belt and of the dangers associated with not buckling up.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Bolingbrook Police Department will participate in the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Super Bowl Campaign, which runs Feb. 11 to Feb. 14. The department said it will step up enforcement of occupant protection laws to help ensure the safety of all passengers in motor vehicles traveling during Super Bowl weekend.

The Bolingbrook Police Department wants to increase public awareness of not wearing a seat belt and raise awareness of the dangers associated with not buckling up, the department said.

"One of the safest choices drivers and passengers can make is to buckle up-every trip, every time, and double check all child safety seats," police said.
