Bolingbrook Sells $40,000 Illinois Lottery Ticket
The winning ticket was sold on Halloween.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Halloween is a scary time for many Americans but it didn't frighten one Naperville man from visiting Bolingbrook to buy a lottery ticket. This week, the Illinois Lottery announced that Alex Seol won $40,000 on October 31 by playing Mega Millions. Seol got four numbers correct including the Megaplier option. The Naperville winner bought his winner at the Stop N Go station in the 300 block of North Schmidt Road. The Bolingbrook business got a $400 bonus, which is 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the prize winner.
The Illinois Lottery reminds people that the Mega Millions drawings occur at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Tickets are $2.
