Bolingbrook Speech Team Members Move on to Sectionals

Five BHS Speech Team members moving on to sectionalsFive Bolingbrook High School Speech Team members advanced to this weekend’s IHSA sectionals at Downers Grove South.

Tony Olea qualified in two events, finishing 1st (regional champion) in Poetry and fourth in Declamation.

Eric Page finished fourth in Humorous Interpretation and 2nd in Dramatic Duet Acting, Nicole Walker was fourth in Dramatic Interpretation and second In Dramatic Duet Acting, Justin Linberg finished third in Prose Reading and John Francisco wound up second in Informative Speaking

As a team, BHS finished third in regionals.

Donna Franks-Tapley is the Speech Team coach.
