Bolingbrook Student Athletes Win Awards, Scholarships

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Several Bolingbook high school students are celebrating big achievements this week.

Bolingbrook High School senior Tyler Cushing finished second at the IHSA Boys Class 3A Cross Country Championships on Sat. Nov. 9 in Peoria.

Cushing completed the State Series by finishing first at regionals, first at sectionals, and second at the State meet.

Four Bolingbrook High School student-athletes will continue their academic and athletic careers after signing National Letters of Intent on Nov. 12.

All four students will play basketball at the Division I level. Jayden Marable will attend Northern Illinois University. Danyel Middleton will be going to Marquette University. Treasure Thompson will attend Louisiana State University, and Darius Burford will be going to Elon University.
