Bolingbrook Students Provide Blankets To Kids In Need
Students donated blankets to kids who are ill or suffering trauma through Project Linus.

BOLINGBROOK, IL -- Brooks Middle School eighth-grader Olivia Mansur carefully cuts material that will become a blanket for Project Linus, a group dedicated to providing “love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort” for children who are seriously ill or traumatized through gifts of new, handmade blankets.
Several dozen Brooks students and staff members gathered Thursday night to make the blankets. This year alone, Brooks clubs and athletic teams have donated over $13,000 and dozens of blankets to various groups supporting families in need.
