Bolingbrook Teen Exposed Himself To Lyft Driver: Police

Illinois State Police announced the Bolingbrook man's arrest on Thursday afternoon.

The Illinois State Police announced that Valentino Rivera of Bolingbrook was arrested Thursday in connection with allegations that he exposed himself on Halloween to a female Lyft driver. Rivera used the Lyft service while at the Joliet Junior College campus in Romeoville, police said.

According to the Illinois State Police District 5, troopers responded to a 911 call made by the Lyft driver. She said the incident occurred near Interstate 55 and Weber Road.

"The Lyft driver reported that after she picked up a fare at Joliet Junior College, the fare removed his pants and began speaking obscenities to her as he exposed himself. Illinois State Police Zone 3 investigations, in conjunction with the Joliet Junior College Police Department, were able to identify the suspect as Valentino D. Rivera, 19," Illinois State Police said.

The Bolingbrook man was arrested Thursday at the Joliet Junior College Romeoville campus. Rivera was charged with indecent exposure, posted bond, and was released pending court proceedings, police said.
