Bolingbrook Varsity Coed Cheer Squad Qualifies for State

They'll head to the IHSA championships at Joliet West.

Bolingbrook High School’s Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Squad finished fourth in the Coed Division at the Joliet West sectional Saturday to qualify for this weekend’s Illinois High School Association state championships.

The Raiders tallied 85.50 points to advance. Sectional champion Stagg won it with 88.73.
The IHSA state championships will begin Friday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington with top Friday finishers moving on to the finals on Saturday.

Team members are Molly Makowski, Alexia Ainoo, LaTe’a Durden, Lena Nasman, Breana Escobar, Ashley Carter, Lauren Schorsch, Emlee Nowicki-Goff, DayAndrea Thompson, Tania Biggs, Haley Carr, Breanna Conley, Sonia Stachurski, Kayla Perry, Jasmine Owens, Jaclyn Lynch, Cayleh Smith, Jada Owens, Diamond Jones, Sam Showalter, David Burton, Darrion Cole, Markus Lindsay, Janell Bell, Aliyia Smith and Nik Nowicki-Goff.
