Bolingbrook Voters Guide: April 4 Consolidated Election

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Early voting has already opened at Fountaindale Library, and the April 4 consolidated election is quickly approaching. The election includes races for village board, school boards, library boards, fire protection districts and park district boards.

Here's a look at what Bolingbrook residents will see on their ballots:

For those who live within the Village boundaries, the race for Village Trustee have five candidates running for three positions. Candidates are:


The race for Bolingbrook Park District commissioner is uncontested. One candidate, Frank McKay, is running for an unexpired two-year term.

Three candidates are running for three 4-year positions:

  • Dorothy Andrews
  • Jerry Hix
  • Sue Vastalo

Foutaindale Library serves Bolingbrook, and the races are uncontested. One candidate, Sarah Siska, is running for an unexpired 4-year term, and two candidates are running for two open positions. Candidates are:

  • Robert Kalnicky
  • Meraj Alam

Most of Bolingbrook attends Valley View School District. There are 10 candidates running for three positions in this race. Candidates are:

  • James "JT" Boudouris
  • William "Bill" Spengler
  • Steven Quigley
  • Victoria "Vickie" Sutterlin
  • Nicole Pelzman
  • Laurie Ann Smith
  • Diane Parro
  • Randall Sutton
  • Jon-Pierre Bradley
  • Rafael Ortiz

Some Bolingbrook residents may attend Plainfield District 202. There are four candidates running for three positions in that race. Candidates are:

  • Margarita Morelos
  • Savena Joiner
  • Heather Roach
  • Elias Kalantzis
