A Bolingbrook woman and her daughter will compete tonight on one of America’s most popular game shows.

Rita Pawlowicz and her daughter, Amy Merello, will be contestants on Wheel of Fortunate, one of the longest running game shows on television.

“Rita and Amy are both huge fans of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and have been watching the show together for as long as they can remember,” a show release said.

Pawlowicz is a retired church secretary. Merello currently lives in Los Angeles, where she works as an architect.

The show is celebrating Wendy’s Family Week this week, where all contestants are dynamic family duos, the show’s website said.

The show airs tonight at 6:30 p.m. CST on WLS.
