Bolingbrook's 2018 Juneteenth Community Festival This Weekend
The fourth annual event is at The Performing Arts Center 375 W. Briarcliff Road in Bolingbrook.
BOLINGBROOK, IL - Bolingbrook's annual Juneteenth Community Festival returns this weekend. It's noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at The Performing Arts Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook. This marks the fourth annual event for Bolingbrook.
There's plenty of live entertainment, children's activities, educational exhibits, food and vendors.
According to the village of Bolingbrook, "Annually, members of the community form a partnership to host a Juneteenth festival to benefit Bolingbrook and its surrounding communities. This multi-cultural celebration provides a positive and peaceful environment for the community’s residents to educate, empower and encourage."
