Bolingbrook's OfficeMax Donates More Than $4K In School Supplies

The school recently received $4,725 in school supplies from Bolingbrook's OfficeMax

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Pencils, notebooks, backpacks - and more. These are just a few of the items one Bolingbrook school will receive thanks to a kind donation from a major retailer.

OfficeMax in Bolingbrook recently made a large donation to B.J. Ward Elementary School.

The school recently received $4,725 in school supplies. Store manager, Mike Solis, made sure that it happened, said district officials.

For four months beginning in June, customers were asked if they wanted to make a donation to purchase school supplies for B.J. Ward students, according to school district officials.

The money eventually collected was used to purchase and package school supplies.

"We thank OfficeMax and every member of the community who made this donation possible," wrote the school district on its official Facebook page.
