Boy, 14, Faces Residential Burglary Charge: Bolingbrook Police
The teen was brought into custody after police were called Tuesday afternoon to Lot P off Fernwood Drive for a report of a burglary.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A 14-year-old boy is facing a residential burglary charge after he was arrested following a short foot pursuit Tuesday afternoon, according to Bolingbrook police.
Officers responded at about 3:58 p.m. to Lot P off Fernood Drive for a report of a residential burglary. Upon arriving, police spotted a pedestrian who matched an eyewitness' description of one of the suspects.
Officials said he fled from an officer and was taken into custody when the ongoing investigation linked him to the crime scene. The teen was charged with both residential burglary and resisting arrest.

The boy will go before a judge Wednesday morning, officials said.
