Bolingbrook Man First Guest to Leave Big Brother

Oh, no! Say it ain’t so, Keith!

The first house guest voted out of the Big Brother 13 household this season is our very own, Bolingbrook-native, Keith Henderson.

It seems this game was not cut out for our hometown playboy, matchmaker and youth leader. Whether it was because he was a threat to some or an annoyance to others, he certainly rubbed many house guests the wrong way during the first week of play.

A couple of Newbies even referred to him as “a ticking time bomb” and as “having done so much damage in the first week."

Personally, I think this decision was questionable. Like Cassie mentioned, there was no harm in keeping him around because of all of the “drama” he brings to the house.

All of the Newbies, not just “The Regulators," should have taken the easier out and said goodbye to Keith’s teammate, Porsche, who seemed to be on the fence about everything. Then they could have used his votes to get through the next two eliminations while he had the Golden Key. After that, it would be fair game and all eyes on Keith.

It seems as though Newbies Kalia, Shelley and Adam, along with the past house guests, just didn’t feel he was trustworthy enough or had his head in the right place to keep him around any further.

Julie Chen called the astonished Keith on the carpet as he left the house by calling him “cocky” and he agreed, also saying that he was “shocked." He wishes he had played the game differently, especially regarding having thrown the POV (Power of Veto) Competition.

In the “Goodbye” video clips from the remaining house guests, a couple of them reminded Keith that this was Big Brother, not the Dating Game. He accepted the criticism with a little unease but a beaming smile.

Sorry, Keith. The Brook was pulling for you and hopefully you will get a chance to make a return appearance in the house, but for now, your picture on the wall will fade to black and white and we’ll see you on the final episode.
