Counting Down The (School) Days

There are only 27 more days of school left for VVSD students!!

Yes, we have been counting down (for many reasons) since the last day of Spring Break. It is hard to believe the year has gone by so fast! I am sure my children do not feel the same way! I remember being their age and thinking the end of the school year was NEVER coming! Now, it comes in the blink of an eye!

It always seems that April and May are some of the busiest of the school year. There is the Young Author's story to be written, the Science Fair project to be done, field trips to be taken, tests to be done, and the end of year activities for school (field days, etc.) and for Scouts. 

In addition, we are participating in a number of fifth grade activities this year! As I mentioned in my last post, my oldest is headed off to middle school in August!  Didn't I just drop her off with the kindergarden teacher not so long ago? I guess not, since my youngest is already headed to third grade in August.

I am hopeful that summer WILL NOT go by as quickly. Maybe I can find a way to stop time!
