Don't Hold the New England Patriots Against This 'Churchologist'

Introducing myself, a relative newbie, to the Bolingbrook community.

Howdy, !

My name is Frank and I am one of the pastors of on Briarcliff Road. My responsibilities, as pastor, are varied, but the one people are most familiar with is that I am the bald guy who gets up in front of the church every week with a Bible in hand and appears to have had way too much caffeine that morning.

I’m a relative newbie in town. My family and I moved here in late-February from the Philadelphia-area. Rest assured, I am not an Eagles fan. But instead, am a more hated breed—the kind that follows the Patriots.

I grew up in Massachusetts and have been a Pats fan since long before they were good. Yes, that includes 1986. Yes, Super Bowl XX was painful. Stop mocking me.

Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself and let you know that I will be regularly blogging here on the Patch in an effort to give you a resource in the area of “churchology.” (Did I fail to mention I make words up some times?)
