Just Another Wednesday

Jumperoo, Auntie Sarah & my stockpile

My day started out as normal...feeding the baby about 5:30 a.m., half asleep and praying he would go back to sleep until 7:30 a.m. when Daddy got up to go to work. Which he kindof did. We had a rough night last night along with a few rough nights lately. It must be a growth spurt or the fact that I quit swaddling him during bedtime about a week ago. I had gotten a jumperoo over the weekend from a friend that I cleaned up and for fun I put Jace in for a couple minutes to test it. He loved it. Still about a month away from jumping like a pro but he liked it!

Auntie Sarah is on Spring Break so we took advantage of that by meeting her for lunch at Chili's. I so needed to get out of the house. The day was georgeous even though a little windy. Chatting with an adult was nice..but then we both ended up baby talking and trying to get Jace to laugh. He is soooo close!

Today he turned 3 months old! YAY! Also today I organized some babyfood a friend had given me (over 100 jars! Thanks Linda!) so now we are ready to start solids in about a month. Something about having a stockpile of formula and food for my baby makes me feel better. So now dinner is in the oven and I'm looking forward to enjoying some bbq pork chops, rice and green beans (if I have any).

Sorry Jace you'll have to wait a long while before you get to eat a yummy dinner like Mommy and Daddy.
