Winter's Walk at Riverwalk Park in Naperville

There are so many patches of nature in our suburbs, and I'd love to discover and explore them all! But, I've just started, and since I have limited time with our family car, I have to snatch time when I can and stay close to home.

Naperville Riverwalk Park is a short 15-minute car trip away from my Bolingbrook home, and there is so much to explore there.  Walking paths make it easy to simply wander with my camera. I took this little walking trip the beginning of January before the snows came, so I wore my walking shoes and and light coat. Not too bad in January!

Even in winter, there was so much to see, if I just looked. I spent a peaceful hour ambling down paths and snapping pictures of interesting scenes. When I arrived back at my starting point, I was just in time to capture the most glorious sunset I've ever seen. Enjoy my walk with me!
