Brooks PE Teacher Earns Award From VFW

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Brooks Middle School Physical Education Teacher Amy Kehr was the recipient of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5917 Citizenship Education Award.

According to the district, the award recognizes teachers who demonstrate excellence in promoting citizenship education and the patriotic principles of the VFW.

Kehr received the award from Post 5917 Commander John Davin with Brooks administration, the Brooks PE Department, and Brooks students in attendance, the district said.
