PIYESTA PINOY 2025
DATE: Saturday, June 14, 2025
TIME: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM CDT
NEW LOCATION: Bolingbrook High School (inside/outside)
365 Raider Way, Bolingbrook, IL
This will be the 12th year of the biggest Filipino American festival of culture, music, arts, games, and food in the Midwest. We are proud to be at a new location for Piyesta Pinoy at Bolingbrook High School, where we have an indoor facility and ample parking! This event is free admission to the public. Bring funds to support local organizations and businesses. Bring your lolas(grandmothers), lolos(grandfathers), ninongs(godfathers), ninangs(godmothers), apos (grandchildren), family, friends, and neighbors! All are welcome to celebrate and learn about our Filipino community.
There will be at least 10 food/drink vendors that will be serving Filipino food/drinks starting at 11am outside. Visit our sponsors, non-food vendors and partner organizations. Just like in the past, there will be a parade of costumes. Cultural and musical performances from No Limits Band and the SamaSama Project will be inside Bolingbrook High School. One of the new elements this year is a short fashion showcase featuring our clothing vendors. Another new element is a car show outside with Legit Manila. Our annual raffle will feature a free round-trip ticket to the Philippines sponsored by Eva Air and other great prizes.
We are very happy to announce that guest celebrity who will be performing at this year’s Piyesta Pinoy. The headliner will be Jermey Passion, Filipino-American singer, songwriter, and producer known for his soulful acoustic R&B sound and positive lyrics. He was an early Asian-American artist to go viral online with his original songs “Lemonade” and “Well Done”, and covers of “So Sick” and “Cater 2 U”. Passion's music is based on his own experiences and explores themes of love, heartbreak, faith, and family.
We are thankful for our many sponsors and donors especially the following:
(Platinum) University of Illinois Chicago, McGrath Lexus | Chicago & Westmont, McGrath Toyota | Elmhurst, and Three Horse Jasmine Rice
(Gold) Village of Bolingbrook, Riceby, Signature Event Designs, and The Philippine Consulate General
