WHAT: Zac Larson invites cyclists, supporters and sponsors to participate in the third annual Solstice Century Bike Ride and Fundraiser—an established event that celebrates the essence of summer with the theme of helping local nonprofits.
WHY: Zac is inviting 100 riders to take part in an exciting challenge: completing 10 ten-mile loops through a scenic forest preserve on June 19, near the 2026 summer solstice. The ride combines endurance, community, and purpose, with a goal of raising $100,000 to support local charitable organizations focused on mental health, youth and family services, and food and shelter programs.
Participants do not need to be avid cyclists—just individuals willing to train for a new challenge while raising funds for nonprofit organizations that are making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Lunch will be provided for participating riders. Riders, donors, and volunteers are also invited to attend the Solstice Century Celebration, which will feature a special dinner, music, and beverages.
Funds raised from the event will benefit the following nonprofit organizations:
Mental Health Services:
SamaraCare, Grow Wellness Foundation, and Max’s Mission
Community Services:
DuPagePads, Little Friends, and Hesed House
