Camp EmpowHER Inspires Next Generation Of Firefighters
The free camp is for high school girls (ages 14-18) who are interested in exploring careers in firefighting and emergency services.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — There are still spots open to participate in Bolingbrook Fire Department's Camp EmpowHER, which runs from June 8-10 in Bolingbrook.
The Village shared that the camp is "ready to inspire the next generation of firefighters."
The free, hands-on camp is for high school girls (ages 14-18) who are interested in exploring careers in firefighting and emergency services.

According to the Village, participants will gain valuable experience while developing fire safety and EMS skills, along with lessons in leadership and teamwork.
The camp will be held from June 8-10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bolingbrook Community Center. The camp is free and includes lunch for all participants.

Space is limited, and preference is given to Bolingbrook residents, the Village said. Applications are open until all spots are filled.
