Celebration Of Special Recreation Planned For October
The event will offer adapted recreational activities and connections to community service providers.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Celebration of Special Recreation will be held in October in Bolingbrook, offering adapted recreational activities and connections to community service providers.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the Annerino Community Center, 201 Recreation Drive.
According to the park district, activities will include glow art, sensory room visits, wheelchair basketball, sit volleyball, goalball, music therapy, equine therapy and more.

The event is presented with the Northern Will County Special Recreation Association, the Bolingbrook Arts Council, Bolingbrook Park District and Angelic Kindness.
