Convicted Robber Stole Fitbits At Meijer: Complaint
Lance M. Miller was previously convicted of robbery in Kane County.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - It's now been a week since 31-year-old Bolingbrook resident Lance M. Miller was taken away by the Bolingbrook Police Department and delivered to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. The Will County State's Attorney's Office has charged Miller with two felony retail thefts. Court records indicate that Miller is not a stranger to the criminal justice system of Illinois. In 2007, when Miller was around 20, he was convicted of robbery in Kane County, court documents show. Miller's latest brush with the law occurred on March 15 at the Bolingbrook Meijer store on East Boughton Road, the complaint states.
Miller is accused of stealing Fitbits from the store. Will County Judge Art Smigielski ordered a $50,000 bail for Miller, who lives in the 200 block of Charlestown Drive. A week later, Miller has been unable to post his bond, which is $5,000, or 10 percent.
However, if Miller does come up with enough bail money to get out of jail, he has been ordered by the courts "to have no contact with Meijer" stores.
