Cops: Pervert Sexually Abused Family Member
John Trudeau was moved to the Will County Jail, from Iowa, over the weekend.
BOLINGBROOK, IL - Over the weekend, 70-year-old John Trudeau of Iowa was booked into the Will County Jail where he may stay for a while. He's been charged with five felony sex crimes alleging sexual abuse involving an underage family member, jail logs show. According to an article published in The Joliet Herald-News, Trudeau's case was investigated by the Bolingbrook Police Department and Trudeau's alleged crimes occurred over a seven-year period, starting in September 1993.
Bolingbrook Police told the newspaper that they began investigating Trudeau last December. The Herald-News report also notes that Trudeau is a suspected child pornographer who got arrested last August by police in Glendale Heights on child pornography charges.
