Two Injured In Thursday Morning Crash At I-55, Weber: State Police

Both drivers were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL —Two people were injured in a traffic crash on southbound Interstate 55 near Weber Road on Thursday morning, Illinois State Police told Patch.

The crash happened between two vehicles at 5:58 a.m. Thursday, according to police.

A white Toyota had a flat tired and was pulled to the partial left shoulder with the vehicle partially in the left lane, police said. A Honda traveling southbound on I-55 struck the rear right side of the Toyota and then struck the median.

The left lane of I-55 southbound was closed, but reopened at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
