Curbside Family Support Day Planned At Bolingbrook HS

Groceries and hygiene supplies will be distributed, along with information about rent assistance and affordable housing, the district said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Valley View School District will hold a curbside family support day at Bolingbrook High School on Nov. 6. The support day brings school and community resources together in one location to support families in need of assistance, the district said.

The event, which is held in partnership with the United Way of Will County and the Will County Regional Office of Education, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. (or until supplies last) on Nov. 6.

According to the district, groceries and hygiene supplies will be distributed, along with information about rent assistance and affordable housing.

Visitors can enter the Bolingbrook campus from Lily Cache Lane, just to the northwest of the main BHS building. Volunteers will provide guidance to Door 17. For safety, supplies will be placed in your car via curbside delivery, the district said.
