Devin Christopher Davis, of Minooka, IL, passed away at the age of 17, as a result of injuries sustained in an accident, on Monday, June 22, 2026. Devin was born in Joliet, IL, on September 8, 2008, the beloved son of Jake and Tracy (nee Wilson) Davis.

A student at Minooka High School, Devin was already building a bright future for himself through hard work, determination, and an entrepreneurial spirit beyond his years. As the proud owner of Fine Line Window Tints, he took great pride in his work and enjoyed creating something of his own. Devin's ambition and strong work ethic earned the respect of those around him, and he approached every opportunity with enthusiasm and a drive to succeed.

Devin lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with energy and excitement. Adventure was part of who he was. Adventure was part of who he was. Growing up, he loved riding and racing dirt bikes alongside his family, making countless memories filled with speed, competition, laughter, and the unwavering support of those he loved most. He was especially proud of his Harley-Davidson and looked forward to every chance he had to hit the road with his dad and his brother.

Known for his outgoing personality and infectious smile, Devin had a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Devin had an easy way of connecting with others, making everyone feel welcome with his kind heart, quick wit, and genuine charm. Whether he was sharing a joke, lending a hand or simply spending time with friends and family, Devin's presence brought joy to those around him. His kindness, loyalty, and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Devin is survived by his parents, Jake and Tracy (nee Wilson) Davis; his older brother, Dylan Lee Davis; paternal grandparents, Carlos Wayne Davis, Sr. and Judy Ann (Dwayne Thomas LeBeau) Davis; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Wilson; aunt, Jennifer Wilson; and his cousin, Dawson Drinnan.He is also survived by several extended family members and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Crystalle Rana Wilson.

Visitation for Devin Christopher Davis will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m.The family requests that all those in attendance to please dress casual.Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
