Diamond Man Had Drugs In His Car: Police

BOLINGBROOK, IL - A young man from Diamond, Illinois, near Coal City, finds himself incarcerated this week at the Will County Adult Detention Facility following his arrest on drug charges. The arrest of 24-year-old Ryan Tidwell occurred on Monday morning.

According to the Bolingbrook Police Department, Tidwell "was arrested following a traffic stop for improper lane usage, at Bolingbrook Drive and Interstate 55. He was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia."

Tidwell's bail was set at $100,000. He needs to come up with $10,000 cash, which is 10 percent, in order to post bond and remain free while he awaits future court appearances at the Will County Courthouse.

As of Wednesday afternoon, July 18, he remained in custody.
