Dog on Cross-Country Journey Lost on I-55

A man moving across the country is asking for help in finding his lost dog, KD Dog. Walker Bayas hired a courier via a shipping broker to transport KD Dog to Chicago from Denver, but she got off her leash at a truck stop near the I-55 Great Chicago Truck Plaza and Route 53.

We love KD Dog and are doing our best to find her and bring her home safely,” Bayas wrote on GoFundMe. As of Friday, $1,000 was raised for a reward.

The transporter chased her north into the Bolingbrook area and Briarcliff for hours so she could be anywhere in the vicinity of Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Woodridge or even farther.
