DuPage River Trail Closed For Construction At Hidden Lakes
A section of the trail will be closed Oct. 31 through Nov. 1.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A section of the DuPage River Trail near the parking lot at Hidden Lakes Trout Farm will be closed from Oct. 31 through Nov. 3, the Forest Preserve District of Will County said.
The closure is due to construction as a new bait shop is built at the preserve.
Fencing will be built around the trail segment and an associated walkway, as the contractor removes, repairs and replaces pavement, the preserve said.

As winter approaches, the access road to Hidden Lakes Trout Farm will close on Nov. 1. The Hidden Oaks Nature Center will remain open, however.
The Forest Preserve acquired the 33-acre site earlier this year from the Bolingbrook Park District. Several improvements and repairs have been made this year, now including the new, larger bait shop.
