Bolingbrook, IL, MAY 17, 2011: The Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting for the third time in as many years the Taste of Bolingbrook, a community festival aimed at highlighting the cuisine and dining options available to the residents. Over a dozen restaurants are registered to participate and they will be offering everything from fresh grilled meats, hamburgers, pizzas and pastas along with fresh deserts from Francesca’s and Andy’s Frozen Custard. The event is sponsored by Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, American Family Insurance, WeatherTech, and Southern Wine & Spirits. “We have several companies that have stepped up as sponsors this year and help us put this event on to promote Bolingbrook as a dining and entertainment destination”, said Mike Evans, President & CEO for the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce.
“We will have live bands, activities for kids of all ages, and many other things to keep families entertained for the weekend” said Tom Castagnoli, co-chair for the event. “This is just a great way for families in Bolingbrook and the surrounding area to come out and enjoy the beginning of summer and taste of variety of the many restaurants we have.”
The 3rd Annual Taste of Bolingbrook is free and to attend and will be held at Town Center located at 375 W. Briarcliff Road. The hours are Saturday, May 21st from 3:00 to 10:00 PM and Sunday, May 22nd from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.
