
Put on your flip flops, grab a blanket and come out to Bolingbrook's Performing Arts Center to enjoy an evening of free entertainment as Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band present the tropical sounds of Caribbean rock, reggae, and calypso. From steel pans to strong percussion, to driving bass and skanking guitars, the Beach Bum Band has a fun and danceable sound that appeals to all ages.
The Free Concert Series at the Bolingbrook Performing Arts Center run every Wednesday (except July 4th) through August 29, 2012. All Wednesday night concerts begin at 7:30pm. Rain or Shine.
The 9,000 square foot Bolingbrook Performing Arts Center located behind Town Center at 375 W. Briarcliff in Bolingbrook, sits opposite of an expansive lawn offering an informal and comfortable place to picnic while enjoying some of the areas top performances. Each show is broadcasted to the lawn audience through a state-of-the-art sound system and presented with dramatic features including conventional and robotic lights, full color L.E.D, fog machine, laser effects AND three giant 9x12 permanent projector screens. Concert and theater spectators bring their own picnic and/or purchase food and beverage just steps away from their seats provided by the theater or blankets and lawn chairs they bring.
